Comics

Yeah here’s some of the comic ideas I’ve been working on so far. The ideas started to come to me when I was 19 and they haven’t stopped since. I’ve always wanted to create comics since I was 5 and first started watching Dragonball and Yu Yu Hakusho back on Toonami. And I’ve been drawing, not always consistently 😂😅, for the longest since I was 3, I just didn’t know where I wanted to gear my Art or in what direction. I didn’t have any life experience basically. And I went into my 20s with no real plan or direction for where I wanted to head in life 😅. I just hoped God would kind of guide me on my path as I went. Now heading into my 30s I have somewhat of a plan 😅 and a direction for where I want to head in life. I know making comics and creating Art is a part of that direction. Helping people, inspiring, giving my perspective, and entertaining people 😂 is also a part of it. I’m just trying to get better at my craft of Visual Arts. Doing my best to keep drawing everyday. And yeah I’m just tryna get better. These comic ideas came out of the idea of getting better at my craft and each of them helps me fulfill that avenue in their own way. While also helping me get better at Visual storytelling. Here they are:

1. Marcy and Belado- A comic series about 2 young kids that joins Mac’s art gallery as his first 2 artists on his roster. They grow as artists as the Motor Soul Art Gallery grows and continues to gather larger audiences and also add more artists on their roster. (Currently working on) (Helps me get better at Drawing, Painting, and Sculpting overall)

2. The Butter Family: Jus Butter- A comic series inspired by my love of Shonen Jump and Shonen Jump protagonists 😂. A series about rebellion somewhat. But naw, it’s a series about a young man of 18 years old who goes off with his uncle to train how to be a bounty hunter in the world of Halaka. He gathers up a crew of his own to go make a name for himself and find out what happened to his father. It’s a young man’s adventure into becoming a legendary bounty hunter. (Currently working on) (Helps me get better at Drawing Fights, animals, cars, planes, fight choreography, backgrounds and environments, and islands)

3. Golden Temple of Devotion- A comic series about a man named Jus who goes outside to his chapel everyday to pray to God. Problem is, well not problem, but the crazy part comes in the fact he lives next to both an atheist and a satanist. Times get crazy 😂 as our protagonist must remember Jesus message of love your neighbors as you would love yourself. And pray for your enemies and pray blessings for them. (Currently working on) (Helps me get better at Visual storytelling in a small setting)

4. Naughty by Nature- A story of a young man and his girlfriend who is a dominatrix. The story shows the journey of a young man as his girlfriend breaks his psyche down 😂 then builds him back up as a better artist and a man. Follow the journey and the struggle 😂. (Currently working on)(Helps me get better at drawing women and better visual storytelling in a small setting)

5. Pretty Girls- A story of a young man and his wife who’s the boss of him as they run a top tier forensics team in Halaka. Solving case after case after case. Underpaid, just doing it for the love, as they try to survive out there. (Currently working on)(Helps me get better at drawing women and better visual storytelling in larger settings)

6. Prince and Lucas- A short comic about my cats getting into fights 😂 (Currently working on)(Helps me get better at drawing cats)

7. Alchemists In Training- A comic series that follows the journey of two young men who are both 16 as one follows his journey in becoming a Top tier Mechanic and the other one follows his journey in becoming a Top tier Architect as both help each other and those they come across in their journey. (Currently working on)(Helps me get better at drawing industrial designs and drawing more architecture designs)

8. King and Queens Counsel- A collab comic that I’m trying to get going with discussions between kings and queens at a dinner table. (Dormant until my 40s)(Helps draw while collaborating with others and getting different perspectives)

9. Film, Sins, and Graffiti- A comic series following two young boys as they go on a adventure for one of them to become a filmmaker and the other one to become a graffiti artist. They trailblaze across Halaka telling you their story. (Dormant until my 50s)(Helps me get better at drawing graffiti designs and drawing different angles)

10. The Butter Family: The Boy in the Sky- A comic series about a boy in the sky as he lives on a floating island and has aspirations to become a pilot and build a plane and fly off his island to explore the other islands and go on a adventure. Sorry for the run on sentences 😂 (Dormant until my 60s)(Helps me get better at drawing industrial designs, planes, and floating islands 😂😅)

2A. The Butter Family: Jus Butter Fight Club- 5 page short comic fights displaying fights of members of the motor soul bounty hunter collective. Trying to get other people to create their own protagonists and bounty hunters and also get them to create their own comics 😂. So, this is just a way to get that to happen. It helps people getting better at drawing fights and backgrounds. The competitiveness of bragging rights, winning streaks, and champions also should make it fun and entertaining.

So, yeah that’s all of what I’m working on as of right now. Just tryna get better at my craft and grow as an artist. I wanna go to comic con conventions but I don’t plan on attending any for a few years well into my mid 30s and up. Just tryna create stories that are impactful, inspiring, educational, and entertaining. By the grace of God please keep me going where my curiosity leads me and let me enjoy the process and have fun!
